The Münsterland is an old ship that was taken into use by the AG Ems in July 1986. Now the ship has been converted with a newbuild front and stern. The ship gets "gas" generators and electric propulsion. Veth Propulsion supplies two contra-rotating Veth L-drives and one two channel bow thruster. Also, the control panels are designed and built especially to the wishes of the customer. Veth Propulsion thought along for the optimal solution where the crew on board can easily switch.
The Münsterland will be sailing as a ferry between the Eemshaven and Borkum!
